Thank you to the following restaurants for the complimentary meals. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
What’s the best part of any vacation? The food. Obviously. Whether you are planning a romantic get-a-way for you and your love or you are off to unwind with your best gal pals, I have found a few of the hottest spots in Atlanta to fill your bellies while you are out seeing the sights.

If you are looking for the perfect place to enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast/brunch in a relaxed atmosphere, then this is where you need to visit. No need to wait to be seated. Just enter, grab a cup of coffee or juice from the self-serve station, order and pay, then choose a seat. If you are coming in on the weekend, just keep in mind that there may be long lines leading to that scrumptious food!
I ordered the grits stack which basically rocked my world! They were hands-down the best grits I have ever placed in my mouth—southern food at its finest! The buttery, cheesy, creamy flavors were perfectly meshed along with bacon, chicken sausage, cheese, and eggs crumbled across the top. These actually originally came with shrimp, but I substituted for chicken sausage instead. The workers were fabulous and accommodating, making sure that we were totally satisfied with our orders. In fact, the owner herself, Marchet, was present and made us feel completely at home. If you have food allergies, you have no need to worry here. They made sure to help my friend who is allergic to both gluten and nuts find something she could enjoy for breakfast too without worries.
For those who are interested in a little history about Le Petite Marche, this restaurant originally started out as a fresh market ten years ago, but customers were not very responsive after the recession. After a difficult year and almost going out of business, breakfast was incorporated. Best. Decision. Ever. Breakfast food came and the surrounding area responded, bringing in regulars and travelers alike. Next time you are passing through Atlanta, stop in for some friendly faces and delicious food.

I am not sure I have ever found a place that matched its name more than this delightful restaurant did! The lights strung across the patio and vintage décor inside, including painted mason jars scattered along one wall create a pleasantly cozy atmosphere. Just relax on a comfy couch or be seated at one of the various tables and get ready to be served sunshine on a plate.
Once again, if you have particular needs such as gluten-free or vegan, these workers have your back. They were friendly and accommodating, providing suggestions to help us find meals and drinks suited to our likings.
I ordered the PBLT which exceeded my expectations. Fried green tomatoes plus thick-cut bacon, scallion aioli, pimento cheese, and lettuce sandwiched between brioche served with a side of hashed potatoes made my mouth water before it even hit my lips. I never would have thought to order something quite like this before, but I am so glad I gave it a try. I am officially a fan of fried green tomatoes (and I don’t mean the movie)! If you are a coffee drinker, then you will want to try one of their specialty coffees, preferably with their Ghirardelli mocha! Heaven in a cup… or should I say sunshine!
Whether you are looking for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, Sun in My Belly has what you want! Add them to your must-visit restaurants!

For those who are more cultured and are looking to try something different, the Food Terminal is for you. This Malaysian street food cuisine is sure to please. The space was bright and colorful, very aesthetically appealing to the eye, and the service was outstanding!
My girlfriends and I shared an assortment of dishes that were palate-pleasing deliciousness. The Garlic Bone Marrow (don’t let the name fool you…very yummy), Kari Spare Rib Noodle Soup, Curry Chicken, Grandma Wonton BBQ Pork, and Nasi Lemak Fried Kari Chicken were all very tasty! If you are a visual person, you will love the setup of their menus. They are magazine-style, allowing you to see the plates of food before ordering so that you know exactly what you are getting. And let me just add that the food is just as pretty in person as it is on the menu! If you are looking for a nut-free/gluten-free meal, the Ipoh Chicken and Shrimp Ho Fun without the fish cakes is a perfect option for you.
Whether you are needing lunch or dinner, this place will satisfy. The atmosphere, service, and food leaves nothing to want!

If you are looking for a place with great music, lively and fun atmosphere, with extremely friendly service (just ask for Natalie as your server…you won’t regret it!), then Establishment is your “it” place to be. The bar is definitely one of the highlights, but if you are a non-alcoholic drinker like me, don’t worry. The bartender was sure to greet us and mix up a couple of mocktails to my liking. I felt pampered and important and was beyond pleased!
The décor was rustic and patriotic and the lighting was low for a great nightlife vibe. I decided to go big for dinner by ordering the New York Strip Steak with Roasted Veggies and Broiled Goat Cheese Mac. Anyone who knows me, knows that homemade mac-n-cheese is the way to my heart! And let’s just say Establishment found my heart and burrowed in for the long haul. AH-MAZING!
If you really want to try something tasty, order “The Southern Bell” burger. For the second year in a row, Establishment is participating in the “Blended Burger Project” and will have this burger for you to try May 29th-July 31st 2017. This burger was divine made with portabella mushroom and a fried green tomato, poblano pimento cheese, and smoked bacon on a pretzel bun! To help them win this competition, head here to vote for this yummy creation. If you want to enjoy a date with your significant other that’s not too stuffy or a night out on the town with your besties, then hit up Establishment. They will not disappoint!
